"Absolute top marks! I can safely say that as a pretty seasoned airsofter that was the most absorbing, hardcore weekend I've experienced. I spent the full twenty four hours wired, walked away 100% satisfied, and I never even got to fire a shot in anger!" Feedback after March 2007 Escape & Evasion Exercise.

"I haven't been Airsofting for long - Headlight was only my 3rd event. My two sons came along with me - this was their first event! The setting was/is absolutely beautiful, and everyone that we encountered were great (even the ones who were laying down fearsome levels of fire at us!). All in all, a most memorable day, which we are privileged and proud to have been a part of." IED Client at Operation Headlight Feb 08

Welcome to IED Airsoft

Founded in 2005 we have built a strong reputation for hosting the best in Milsim airsoft events with three woodland sites along the English/Welsh border where we run single day or 24hr weekend events.

The staff have a vast amount of experience in the Army & Mountain Rescue so whether its a day of milsim skirmishing, a 24hr battle weekend or an Escape & Evasion exercise, at IED Airsoft we like to push the boundaries of the sport by creating a realistic war fighting environment that a player can immerse themselves in.

Underlying this is a huge element of fun with us not taking ourselves too seriously & encouraging new & veteran airsofters to come along & sample the friendly atmosphere while having the oppurtunity to shoot plastic ball sized lumps out of each other once a month.

Our philosophy is to pack as much gaming into an event as possible to give you maximum value for money.

You won't find yellow-jacketed Marshalls compromising your location. We let events marshall themselves with trusted airsofters that we know acting as passive Marshalls.

At IED we like to offer you a more rewarding experience & don't believe in giving players a strict regimen of missions to complete unless it is crucial to a viable end result.

Each side will have a Commander (OC) or Section Commander depending on the resources available to him. As game organisers IED will provide all relevant data including maps, aerial photo's & intel. Whilst we will have given each side certain missions to complete we also encourage a flexible mindset amongst commanders.

OC's & Section Commanders will be people we know & trust to do things the IED way. They will have discretion to complete their tasks in any way they choose. Commanders & 2ic's will be briefed by the organisers at the start of an event, they will be given all they need & it is then up to them to brief their troops as they would in a real world environment. We like to create a realistic war fighting environment where anything can happen. Underlying this is a tried & tested method of controlling things ensuring the best of realistic milsim gameplay.

Please be aware we do not have or provide the normal facilities found at airsoft skirmish sites. There is no burger van or warm, dry toilets.

Players should be aware of the need to wear suitable footwear. Some form of boot is a necessity. IED Airsoft will not be responsible for foot/ankle injuries suffered as result of inappropriate footwear. Please be sensible.

With the contacts we have we can occasionally bring you something extra special as an airsoft event. Due to the nature of these events, some of which will be by invitation only please check the IED forum regularly for updates.

Anyone wishing to attend should book in via the contacts page.
